Junior League of Kingsport Community Service Scholarship

In the spring of each year, the Junior League of Kingsport's Community Service Scholarship Award program provides a $1000 scholarship to a young woman who meets the following criteria:

1.    Currently enrolled as a senior in a public or private high school in the Kingsport/Sullivan County area or enrolled in a licensed home schooling program within this area.
2.    Demonstrates a commitment to voluntarism through an outstanding record of participation and leadership in service-oriented activities. These may include, but are not limited to, civic activities, church activities, scouting activities or any other community services, either through an established service agency or individually.
3.    Maintains a consistent record of academic achievement within a challenging curriculum.
