Junior League of Kingsport Community Service Scholarship:

In the spring of each year, the Junior League of Kingsport’s Community Service Scholarship Award program provides a $1000 scholarship to a young woman who meets the following criteria:

Currently enrolled as a senior in a public or private high school in the Kingsport/Sullivan County area or enrolled in a licensed home schooling program within this area.
Demonstrates a commitment to voluntarism through an outstanding record of participation and leadership in service-oriented activities. These may include, but are not limited to, civic activities, church activities, scouting activities or any other community services, either through an established service agency or individually.
Maintains a consistent record of academic achievement within a challenging curriculum.
