Women's Fair

Past JLK Project - from 2006-2008, JLK hosted an annual Women’s Fair. This project helped to develop the self esteem of low income women and their children and assisted them in reaching their potential while promoting awareness and knowledge of agencies and services available to them. During the event, participates received vital health care information, bone density screenings, and opportunities to register for programs such as children’s literacy initiatives. The project was a great success, and many Kingsport area women and their children benefited from participation in the Fair.
