Mini-Grant
As part of our commitment to support service organizations in our community, a portion of our annual fundraising is given to a local 501(c)(3) in the form of a mini-grant. Ideally, this mini-grant should support a specific project with an identifiable tie to the mission of Junior League Kingsport. Additionally, preference is given to agencies and programs which work to better the lives of women and/or children in our local community.
A successful application must include the following documents, in addition to a complete grant application (see link below):
1. Complete and current listing of organization/agency’s Board of Directors.
2. A copy of organization/agency’s 501(c)(3) IRS authorization letter.
3. A copy of organization/agency’s most current audited financial statement. If an audited statement is not available, please include a copy of last year’s budget or financial statement.
